ചെറിയ മരങ്ങൾ. ദൃഢമായ ശാഖകൾ. ഇലകൾ 25 സെ.മീ വരെ. കീഴ്‌ഭാഗം ഇടതൂർന്ന വെളുത്ത രോമങ്ങൾ.3 പ്രധാന ഞരമ്പുകൾ , 8-11 ജോഡി ദ്വിതീയ ഞരമ്പുകൾ, അരികുകൾക്ക് താഴെ വളഞ്ഞതാണ്. ഞരമ്പുകൾ പ്രബലവും സമാന്തരവും ക്രമവുമാണ്. ഇലഞെട്ടിന് 15 സെ.മീ വരെ നീളം. മുകളിൽ അണ്ഡാകാരത്തിലുള്ള അനുപർണ്ണം. 6 മില്ലീമീറ്റർ ഉള്ള സ്പൈക്ക്. പെൺപൂക്കൾ ഇടതൂർന്ന പായ്ക്ക്, പെരിയാന്ത് ട്യൂബുലാർ, അഗ്രത്തിൽ ഇടുങ്ങിയതും 3-5 പല്ലുകളുള്ളതുമാണ്. ദീർഘവൃത്താകൃതിയിലുള്ള, 0.5 മില്ലിമീറ്റർ നീളമുള്ള കായ്കൾ.
