Description

വള്ളിയായി കയറിപ്പോകുന്ന ഒരു സസ്യമാണ് മുന്തിരിവയറ. ഇലകൾക്ക് മുന്തിരിയോട് സാമ്യമുള്ളതിനാലാണ് ആ പേര് ലഭിച്ചത്. നിറയെ രോമങ്ങളുള്ള തണ്ടുകൾ ചുറ്റിപ്പിടിച്ചാണ് കയറുക. ഇലകൾ ഏകാന്തരം. കൈപ്പത്തിയോട് സാദൃശ്യമുള്ള ഇലകൾ. പത്രകക്ഷങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും പൂക്കൾ ഉണ്ടാവുന്നു. ഇളം മഞ്ഞനിറമുള്ള പൂക്കൾ വലിപ്പമുള്ളവയാണ്. ഇതളുകൾ ചേർന്ന് ഒന്നായിരിക്കുന്നു.
